{"id":32,"date":"2017-08-17T06:13:08","date_gmt":"2017-08-17T06:13:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vet.mu.edu.iq\/en\/?page_id=32"},"modified":"2017-08-17T06:13:08","modified_gmt":"2017-08-17T06:13:08","slug":"microbiology-department","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/vet.mu.edu.iq\/en\/microbiology-department\/","title":{"rendered":"Microbiology department:"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Microbiology department<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Our <strong>department<\/strong> is focusing on how to make the students able to diagnose the causative agents of many diseases and link that to the scientific research.<\/p>\n<p>Goals:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Conducting microbiological experiments that are related to clinical diseases.<\/li>\n<li>Teaching Students many courses are related to microbial diseases such as; Bacteriology, Parasitology, Virology, and Immunology.<\/li>\n<li>Explain to students the mechanism by which diseases are progressing.<\/li>\n<li>Be updated with the newest revolutions in science and keep our students updated as well.<\/li>\n<li>Providing our laboratories with up to date instruments and devices to facilitate students learning.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Vision <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1-Work on the development of microbiology through the use of modern methods of teaching and scientific research.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Microbiology Branch aspires to be a scientific and research source such as other sciences in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine means giving information and knowledge to microbiology of pathogenic bacteria, viruses, fungus, and immunology works to ensure the level of primary and secondary studies students to diagnose and control pathogens that destroy livestock.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Materials taught by the department<\/p>\n<p>1- Veterinary microbiology (annual lesson &#8211; 3 theoretical hours and 3 practical hours), including bacteria, viruses and theories. 2-Immunology: (2 semesters, 2 hours, 2 hours)<\/p>\n<p>3- Biology: (annual lesson &#8211; 2 theoretical hours and 2 hours practical<\/p>\n<p>Brief About the department<\/p>\n<p>The Medical Microbiology Branch is one of the main branches of the Faculty of Medicine, which opened since the establishment of the College, where it studies the medical microbiology, which includes the science of bacteria, parasitology, cytology, immunology and immunology.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0\u00a0 Microbiology department: Our department is focusing on how to make the students able to diagnose the causative agents of many diseases and link that to the scientific research.
