About the establishment of the college
The idea of establishing the College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Muthanna University began at the beginning of 2012, and by a decision from the esteemed Muthanna University Council, it was agreed to open the College of Veterinary Medicine after obtaining the approval of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research by a ministerial order to establish the college on 9/2/2012 only. Decision of the Innovation Committee in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and all its scientific branches, which include microbiology, public health, anatomy, tissues and embryos, parasitology, physiology, medicines and chemistry, diseases and diseases of poultry and fish, internal and preventive medicine, surgery and veterinary obstetrics. It was located in a three-story building, and we started at Al-Muthanna University on August 16, 2012. We began the task assigned to us with the help of the brothers from the teaching staff transferred from the College of Veterinary Medicine / University of Baghdad and from the Colleges of Science and Agriculture at Al-Muthanna University, among the teaching staff to contribute with all enthusiasm and enthusiasm to build The college is in its current location, which consists of three floors. In fact, work has been done to prepare and equip the college’s building components during a period of time that is not comparable to the known normal times.
The college became ready to receive students on November 1, 2012. In fact, the college received 63 students for the academic year 2012-2013, and the college received 73 students for the academic year 2013-2014. All requirements were prepared for the success of the college’s academic journey.
