Branch message:
Preparing the student of veterinary sciences scientifically, professionally, and ethically qualifies him to be an honorable image of the medical profession, a high example of service to humanity, and an effective treatment to alleviate the suffering of patients.
Branch objectives:
1. Preparing the student of veterinary sciences with a high scientific and moral level that qualifies him to be a successful and trustworthy doctor in the future, and teaching fourth and fifth year students all subjects related to animal diseases.
2. Conducting refresher courses for veterinarians to introduce them to modern laboratory techniques and clinical pathological diagnosis.
3. Training college students on the foundations of examining, diagnosing, and treating various pathological conditions in animals. The branch teaches pathological diagnostics, infectious and common diseases, and veterinary application for fourth-year students, and veterinary application and internal medicine for fifth-year students.
4. Building a teaching staff that includes all specialties for the internal medicine branch.
5. Preparing a research staff dedicated to scientific research
6. Providing introductory lectures on infectious and common diseases in the college and in other counseling centers.
7. Joint cooperation with regional and international colleges of veterinary medicine.
Branch vision:
The Internal Medicine Branch seeks to be a pioneer among the scientific branches of veterinary medicine colleges in the region in terms of the academic level of the teaching staff and in terms of the scientific and professional preparation of primary and postgraduate students.
