brief history :

The Anatomy, Histology and Embryology Branch is one of the important branches in the College of Veterinary Medicine for preliminary studies, as it studies the anatomy of all organs and systems of the animal body, as well as learning the relationship between them. Students also study the development of these organs and systems during the embryonic stages of animals. The branch was established with the founding of the college in 2012 AD. The branch teaches these subjects for the first and second stages.

Branch objectives:

1- Keeping pace with developments in anatomy, histology and embryology by updating the curriculum annually and providing students with modern basic information and knowledge.

2- Activating the role of the branch in serving the community by introducing the problems that the startup suffers from as research projects, developing a plan, and preparing the student to find appropriate solutions to serve the community.

3- Rehabilitating the branch’s laboratories by supplying them with modern scientific equipment and performing periodic maintenance on the equipment used.

4- Encouraging the spirit of scientific research by holding seminars, seminars, and specialized scientific workshops

The Anatomy, Histology and Embryology Branch at the College of Veterinary Medicine aspires to be one of the best branches in the college in the field of education and community service by providing high-quality graduates who are aware of the importance of this service and this profession that governs their work and holds them responsible for commitment and leadership towards excellence and creativity.

 

Branch message:

Teaching the branch’s subjects related to anatomy, histology, and medical embryology theoretically and practically, using modern educational methods, to prepare the student for future clinical and research study.
The outputs of anatomy, tissues and embryos are the basic building blocks for postgraduate studies in the college, as well as the focus on special research activities to find solutions to the problems facing society.
